An independent digital archive devoted to the people, institutions and material history of Malaysian journalism.
Why this archive exists.
Newsrooms change, publications close and generations move on. The work remains part of the historical record, but the people and institutions behind it can easily disappear from public memory.
The Malaysian Press is designed as a long-term, expandable archive. Records may be corrected and enriched as new material becomes available.
